"They that can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." --Benjamin Franklin

End TSA Meaning "Total Sexual Assault"

Congressman Ron Paul makes many of the observations on the floor of the Congress that are pretty much not in dispute any longer.

They include:
  • TSA pat-downs don't make anyone any safer.
  • If anyone else except a TSA agent did it to another person, they would be arrested and charged with a crime.
  • American sheeple have rolled over and let this happen.
  • To all American's shame there is no outrage over another case of government taking more individual rights using the ruse of  "increased traveler safety."
  • The special treatment Congress gets at airports means they will not have to undergo this denigration.
Here's the ultimate bottom line for every American citizen. Unless constituents raise hell, including every mother and father who might fly with their children, Congress won't be bothered by the invasive TSA procedures one bit.  All this does not apply to them. Watch them go through security and you realize they just flash their "Member of Congress" card and they and their families pass through unmolested. I for one don't want to hear anymore frantic crying little kids after being terrorized by a TSA agent or such lunacy as, "Cancer surviving flight attendant forced to remove prosthetic breast during pat-down."

End the season of government gone wild. Write your Congressman, lame duck or not, and demand they bring H.R. 6416: American Traveller Dignity Act of 2010 onto the floor now and it get enacted. There is no reason this Congress cannot do one thing right before it enters the dustbin of it's shameful history of the last two years.

It is time to end the mindless bureaucratic insanity that has overwhelmed this nation and given terrorists this huge victory in their jihadist war on this country.
