Is "waterboarding" torture?

If you have been though one of the week or more SERE "experiences" there is a good likelihood you got to experience this technique presented here in a video by left leaning liberal Playboy magazine. Is it torture? It is something that the left loves to whine about. Is there a resistance process one can use when exposed to the technique? All things you walk out of SERE knowing. But, is it torture? If knowing what is coming and how you are going to react is torture, then yes it is. But if that is the case, then I suggest our liberal whiny weenies take a look at the use of a CS gas chamber, Navy or Ft. Rucker's dunker training and USAF altitude chamber. Is that training torture? After a while it gets silly doesn't it? You see, all those "experiences" like the ones in SERE, teach you what to expect, what to recognize when you respond, and what you can realistically expect when it all happens. It's all unpleasant training and amazingly all vital to your survival when it happens for real. That is one reason that our politicians have done us all a great disservice by wringing their hands and thumping their liberal breasts about "waterboarding." Do you think our enemies have not begun their own versions of SERE? You're a rube if you think otherwise. When the next terrorist attack leaves thousands of Americans dead, think about how the Pelosi politicians, MSNBC media and DailyKos nut-job types helped the terrorists out. May the cries and the tears of those that will suffer from the next one never leave the collective consciousness of those who hate this country so much they align with the goals of those who seek us harm.

  1. I think people volunteer for waterboarding at the minimum when they pick up arms against us.
