Man, the politicians are scurrying like cockroaches when you turn on the kitchen light at night over the immigration bill. As I listen to the rhetoric I was struck by what one Hispanic restaurant worker said to me recently about it. It pretty much said it all. He simply observed, "Man, none of the illegals are going to do all that stuff, what they are doing now, works just fine."

But what does he know, right? I suspect probably what no politician would ever admit and is the basic flaw in all the hype surrounding the 'final solution' to our immigration problems.

The question is whether we as citizens are going to keep funding the silliness. One of my favorite responses to the the deluge of request for political contributions was the "Cero Peso Campaign." There you can download this, which is the perfect response to their contribution request.



Evidently the Ripofflicans are already feeling the heat. Reportedly today they fired all 65 of their telephone solicitors. I suppose they refused to work for "Nada Pesos." Hopefully the Dimocrats are getting inundated with them too.
