The AP story
Libya Closes Denmark Embassy Over Drawings seems to be a continuation of a story I wrote about
here three months ago. Then it was about an Imam who was demanding an apology from the Danes because 12 drawings had been published depicting Allah.
This same Imam was the one preaching it was OK to rape Danish women because of their "immodest dress." The caricature I showed in that post showed the Prophet with a "turban bomb" on his head. More of the "offensive" graphics are shown left (click for larger view).
Now, months later, the Libyans are demanding an apology and closing their embassy in Denmark. Other Arab states have already recalled ambassadors, or initiated boycotts of Danish goods in protest. Some have burned Danish flags.
The Danes have responded by saying, "we meant no offense," but this is covered under the Danish concept of "free speech."
NOTR says buy Danish!
Free speech is a radical concept these Arabs don't want to hear or accept. Less offensive in their moral code seems to be killing of innocent women and children, beheadings, and imposition of Sharia law.
But it makes you wonder, if viewing these pictures is idolatry, how do any devote Muslims know if these thumbnails are accurate portrayals or not? And if they are inaccurate, how can they then be offensive? Wheee!
